Under the Court Monitoring Project implemented by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro and its partner CEMI, CEMI is seeking two part time Court Monitor (trainee).

University Degree in Law, substantive knowledge of the national justice system, human rights and elements of fair trial, fluency in English language and the ability to work with efficiency, competence and integrity, both individually and as a team member are required.

Radno mjesto 1: monitor suđenja (jedan izvršilac)

Uslovi: diplomirani/a pravnik/ca, poznavanje ljudskih prava i principa fer suđenja, odlično poznavanje engleskog jezika. Prednost imaju kandidati/tkinje koje su položili/e pravosudni ispit i imaju radno iskustvo u nacionalnom pravosudnom sistemu. Izabrani kandidat će biti angažovan na projektu Monitoring suđenja u Crnoj Gori, koji CEMI sprovodi u saradnji sa Misijom OEBS-a u Crnoj Gori.

Otvoren konkurs za volontiranje u CEMI-ju

Centar za monitoring raspisuje konkurs za studente treće i četvrte godine pravnih fakulteta i fakulteta političkih nauka crnogorskih univerziteta, koji žele da se prijave za volontiranje na projektima koje CEMI spovodi iz oblasti demokratizacije i ljudskih prava, borbe protiv korupcije i evropskih i evroatlantskih integracija. Konferencija o zapošljavanju mladih u okviru prekogranične saradnje Crne Gore i BiH

S obzirom na visok nivo nezaposlenosti mladih u Bosni i Hercegovini i Crnoj Gori i nedovoljnoj uključenosti i zajedničkoj saradnji svih aktera u toj oblasti Omladinska informativna agencija BiH (OIA) i Centar za monitoring (CEMI) iz Crne Gore uz podršku Evropske unije (Program prekogranične saradnje - IPA fond) realizuju projekt „Bolje mogućnosti za zapošljavanje mladih“. Cilj projekta je doprinos smanjenju nezaposlenosti mladih u prekograničnim opštinama: Goražde, Foča, Ustikolina, Pljevlja, Nikšić, Žabljak i Plužine.

Prva bilateralna konferencija ovoga projekta će se održati u Sarajevu od 06. do 08. jula 2011. godine. To će biti prilika da se okupe predstavnici različitih aktera poput zavoda za zapošljavanje, obrazovnih institucija, lokalnih vlasti, poslodavaca, civilnog društva i mladih iz spomenutih opština i da analiziraju problem nezaposlenosti mladih i njegovih društveno-ekonomskih posljedica, razmjene svoju praksu u toj oblasti i identifikuju mogućnosti za napredak i saradnju. Pored toga, biće predstavljene i aktivnosti projekta u narednoj školskoj godini, kao i model za zajedničku međusektoralnu saradnju na lokalnom nivou.

Konferencija se održava u Sarajevu u hotelu Saraj (www.hotelsaraj.com, u Starom gradu) sa početkom u srijedu 06.07. u  17:00h, a završava u petak 08.07. u 14:00h.



Policy Forum: Izborni zakon - Kako do kompromisa?

Zadovoljstvo nam je da Vas obavijestimo da Centar za monitoring i Institut alternativa organizuju panel diskusiju “Izborni zakon – Kako do kompromisa?“ sa posebnim osvrtom na pitanja odnosa državljanstva i biračkog prava, odnosno, autentične predstavljenosti manjina.

Panelisti ove diskusije će biti g-din Milutin Simović (DPS), g-din Kemal Purišić (BS), g-din Vasel Sinishtaj (AA), g-din Aleksandar Damjanović (SNP) i g-din Rifat Rastoder (SDP).

Planirano je da panelisti u ime svojih političkih partija saopšte stavove u vezi sa temom koja je aktuelna i značajna kako u kontekstu usaglašavanja izbornog zakonodavstva sa Ustavom Crne Gore, tako i u odnosu na preporuke Evropske komisije za dobijanje datuma otpočinjanja pregovora o članstvu Crne Gore u EU.

Diskusiji će prisustvovati predstavnici civilnog sektora, akademske i stručne javnosti, studenti kao i predstavnici medija. Panel će moderirati novinar Dragoljub Duško Vuković.

Ovo je drugi panel u nizu, kao nastavak programa POLICY FORUM koji pretpostavlja održavanje periodičnih panela na različite aktuelne teme.

Panel će biti održan u Pres centru (Ulica Josipa Broza 23A, Stari Aerodrom) u petak, 1. jula 2011. godine sa početkom u 18h.

POLICY FORUM - panel diskusija "Crna Gora: pet godina nakon obnove nezavisnosti"

NVO Centar za monitoring i NVO Institut Alternativa organizuju panel diskusiju "Crna Gora: pet godina nakon obnove nezavisnosti", koja će biti održana u srijedu, 25. maja 2011. godine sa početkom 18h. Panelisti diskusije su gospodin Branko Lukovac, gospodin Miodrag Vuković, gospodin Goran Danilović i gospodin Velizar Kaluđerović. Moderator panel diskusije je Nedjeljko Rudović, a biće održan u Pres centru (Ulica Josipa Broza 23A, Stari Aerodrom).

Round table“Tolerance and anti- discrimination in Montenegro: experiences and recommendations”

The monitoring Centre CEMI is organizing a round table under title “Tolerance and anti- discrimination in Montenegro: experiences and recommendations“, which will be held at PR Center (Boul. Josip Broz 23A) on April 26th, 2011. Round table is organized within the project „Strengthening the Ombudsman Institution in Montenegro“, implemented by the Monitoring Center CEMI in cooperation with OSCE Mission in Montenegro and funded by the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro.

Panelists at the round table will be representatives of Ombudsman Institution, Parliamentary Board for Human Rights and Freedoms, Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Superior Court, as well as the representatives of  CSO’s with experience in field of anti-discrimination.

It is expected presence of: political parties, international organizations, relevant ministries and media.
 

Round table “International obligations in prevention of torture and their implementation in Montenegro”

The Monitoring Center CEMI is organizing a round table “International obligations in prevention of torture and their implementation in Montenegro”, which will be held at PR Center (Boul. Josip Broz 23A) on April 6th, 2011. Round table is organized within the project „Strengthening the Ombudsman Institution in Montenegro“, implemented by the Monitoring Center CEMI in cooperation with OSCE Mission in Montenegro and funded by the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro.

Panelists at the round table will be representatives of the Ombudsman Institution, Supreme Court, Police Directorate, State Prosecutor, Institute for Execution of Criminal Sanctions, CSO’s as well as the representative of the Association for Prevention of Torture, Ms Tanya Norton.

It is expected presence of: political parties, international organizations, relevant ministries and media.

National Conference on „Strategy for Poverty Reduction and Social Exclusion: aims and effects”

National Conference on „Strategy for Poverty Reduction and Social Exclusion: aims and effects” , organized by the Center for Monitoring, in cooperation with Juventas and Cazas, will be held in the premises of PR Center, the Boulevard Josip Broz 23A (backyard entrance, 1st floor), on the 3rd and 4th of February, 2011. This conference will consist of four thematic panels.

The National Conference is organized as part of the project "Strengthening advocacy function of CSOs in Montenegro through developing policy-oriented capacities of Coalition for Social Changes", implemented by the Monitoring Center - CEMI in cooperation with Juventas and Cazas, and partnership with IAN from Belgrade and XYZ from Sarajevo. The patron of this project is European Union, while the project is implemented from the IPA funds. As part of the project, the Coalition for Social Changes was formed, consisting of ten NGOs from Montenegro which deal with human rights, social protection, health and education: the Monitoring Center, OKC Juventas, Montenegrin association against AIDS CAZAS Montenegro, Center for Civic Education, Pedagogical Center, Association of Youth with Disabilities, Association of parents of children with special needs, Ekvista and the Roma Scholarship Foundation.

Coalition for Social Changes has produced proposals of public opinion surveys for four areas of the Strategy for Poverty Reduction and Social Exclusion, through monitoring the implementation of the strategy, field research and interviews with representatives of relevant institutions. Public policy studies for areas of employment, social exclusion, health and education will be presented at the National Conference. Public opinion surveys about the situation in these areas, based on the sample of 1050 citizens of Montenegro, will also be presented.

Studies dealing with areas of employment and social exclusion will be presented on the first day of the conference, while studies from education and health will be presented on the second day.
