The monitoring center CEMI, in cooperation with the Open Society Institute Foundation – Think Tank Fund from Budapest, is organizing a round table “Reform of anti-corruption institutions in Montenegro: how to make the system more efficient?”. The round table will be held on Monday, May 24th, at the hotel “Podgorica,” starting at 2:30 pm. The aim of the round table is to present the state of anti-corruption policies and their implementation in Montenegro, as well as the presentation of proposals for improving the efficiency of institutional framework, through reform of institutions responsible for fighting political corruption.
The work of institutions in the region will be presented (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia), with the aim to identify positive practices and key premises for the success of anti-corruption policies. Additionally, three possible models of institutional reform will be considered and it will be proposed the most applicable model, considering the current situation in Montenegro.
