Legal department has been a key to the development of The monitoring center, especially because of its many legislative initiatives, as well as the monitoring process and control of the regularity of the electoral process. Central to current activities of the legal department is the project of trial monitoring, in which CEMI is the partner of the OSCE Mission in Montenegro.The project is being implemented for the third year, while the monitoring team consists of three observers from CEMI and two from OSCE. Besides this, the legal department provides legal support in the implementation of all CEMI’s projects.

The legal department consists of Vlado Dedovic MA, Miodrag Markovic - assistant at the Law Faculty, Boško Nenezic – Executive Director of CEMI, Danijela Boskovic and Srdjan Zaric, an external legal consultant. All members of the Legal Department are graduated jurists, while some of them continue to advance in certain legal fields. Legal Department has a high level of expertise in the fields of criminal, civil, constitutional and administrative law.
