Two day training on the topic "Experience and good practice in the preparation of reports on the Ombudsman work" has been held

Tuesday, 22nd of June, 2010 – Within the project "Strengthening the institution of Ombudsman in Montenegro, in the period 22-23rd June 2010. in the Hotel City in Podgorica, CEMI organized a two-day training on "Experience and good practice in the preparation of reports on the Ombudsman work". Training, whose lecturers were Mr. Idžet Memeti, Macedonian Ombudsman and Mr Ivan Šelih, Deputy Ombudsman of Slovenia, attended by deputies and advisors working in the institution of Montenegrin Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms.

The training is aimed at exchanging experiences and good practices in terms of preparing and publishing annual reports on Ombudsman work and the preparation of individual (thematic) Ombudsman reports. The training was especially emphasized the importance and role of media in promoting and presenting the annual report of the Ombudsman and different methodologies and approaches in terms of preparing the annual and thematic reports of the Ombudsman were presented.

The project "Strengthening the institution of Ombudsman in Montenegro" is financially supported by European Union through the EU Delegation in Montenegro and the project is associated by  OSCE Mission to Montenegro.
